
Parish Pastoral CouncilThe OLL Parish Pastoral Council is a consultative body to the pastor and shall be governed by the norms of the Archdiocese of Seattle. The main functions of the Parish Council are to assist Father Tim in evaluations of parish priorities, and to assist Father Tim with both directional and strategic planning. Specifically, these functions would include:
Some attributes that OLL Parish Council members should have are fair mindedness, being open to the views of others, critical thinking skills, an ability to listen, and to respect the views of others. Parish Pastoral Council Chair: Matt Barmore - 527.3425 MEMBERSRita Connaughton: I attended OLL as seventh/eighth grader, Blanchet HS, Seattle University, UW and Western Washington University. I was a Parish member as a child and returned to OLL when I came back to Seattle in the 70's. My family has been connected to this parish since 1960 and it is like going home for me. Charlie Huber: I am the Chair of the Development Committee at Our Lady of the Lake Parish and School. My wife Brenda and I, and our family have been members of the greater Parish family since 1995. We have three children that attend Our Lady of the Lake Parish School. I have previously served four years on the School Commission which I chaired during the 2001-02 school year. I have been a member of the Development Committee for two years and I am an attorney who works at Lane Powell in Seattle, Washington. |
