Music

Music has always been an integral part to the Liturgical life of Our Lady of the Lake. Our mission is to glorify God with music performed to the highest standards of excellence in order to transcend the earthly and to express what cannot be expressed. We are always looking for more volunteers who wish to share their gift of music with the community.

5:00 PM Saturday Vigil Mass

A cantor and instrumentalists leads the acclamations, hymns and songs. You will often hear pieces of music from the Catholic repertoire of classical vocal solos to enhance your prayer. 9:30 AM Sunday Morning Mass

A dedicated choir under the direction of Sara Hanson lead the music of our Morning Mass. The repertoire includes traditional hymns as well as contemporary music. New members are always welcome to join the choir. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 7:30 – 9:00 PM. 6:30 PM Evening Contemporary Ensemble Mass

Our Contemporary Ensemble leads the congregation in the liturgical music of the evening mass. Dan and Cheryl DeShon organize and direct this group of musicians.
