Meet the Board
Greg Wadsworth - Chair
Greg is the Chair of the Development Committee of Our Lady of the Lake Parish and School. Greg graduated from college in 1982 and lived in the parish for about 18 months before moving to Bothell. He married his wife, Shavaun in 1985 and rejoined the OLL family in 1987 when they bought a house in the Wedgwood neighborhood. Their two children, Austin and Lauren, attended OLL School and later graduated from Bishop Blanchet High School.
Greg is an insurance agent with Allstate Insurance here in Wedgwood. His family has volunteered in various activities over the past 20 years mostly surrounding OLL School. Now that their children are no longer in local schools they look forward to volunteering to serve the OLL Parish and continuing to support the Catholic Community.
Charlie Huber
Charlie is the Past Chair of the Development Committee at Our Lady of the Lake Parish and School. Charlie and his wife Brenda, and their family have been members of the greater Parish family since 1995. His three children attend Our Lady of the Lake Parish School.
Charlie has previously served four years on the School Commission which he chaired during the 2001-02 school year. He has been a member of the Development Committee for three years. Charlie is an attorney who works at Lane Powell in Seattle, Washington.
Joe Demarte
Joe with his wife Kay has been an OLL Parishioner since 1979. Both of their sons, AJ and Zac have graduated from OLL. Joe has served on School Commission, Parish Council, School Marketing, Principal Search Committee, coached basketball and volleyball, cooked pancakes and participates in the many offerings that OLL provides.
Joe is a retired Human Resource Professional (26 years at Nordstrom) with a background in Finance. He has developed a second career as an auctioneer calling benefit auctions around the Northwest, including the Our Lady of the Lake Parish School auction for the last few years.
John Zarek
John has been a member of OLL Parish since 1978. He is married to Carol Bangasser Zarek and they have 3 children who all attended OLL, Paul 1990; Julie 1993; Stephanie 1994. They also have 2 grandchildren.
John has been a member of the Parish Pastoral Council 2 different times, chaired Council 1998-1999 and was the Co-Chair for 2000 and Beyond Campaign to retrofit the school and to build Jubilee Hall. He has been the Planner for Thanksgiving liturgies since 1982, a Eucharistic Minister since 1980 and spent many years on Parent's Club.
John is a Hospital Clinical Pharmacist and Hospital Clinical Manager working at Swedish Medical Center. His expertise lies in building relationships, facilitating, planning and organizational dynamics.
Mark Chacon
Mark and his wife Gina have been members of Our Lady of the Lake Parish since 1993 where they both have volunteered in various school and parish committees including the family Baptism classes and the Parents Club Board. Mark has completed three years of service on OLL School Commission.
They have two daughters, one an OLL grad attending Seattle Prep and the second is currently an OLL middle schooler.
Mark's first career was as a design professional and is now the Vice President and Principal for a national marble and tile supply company. He has lectured at architectural schools and trade organizations on the use of natural stone in architecture and has authored and published one of the few books on the subject.
Jim Flinn
Jim and his wife Michele joined the OLL Parish in 2006 and have a daughter Kaitlin who is in first grade at OLL. Jim is a Registered Investment Advisor with KMS Financial Services in Seattle.
Mike Harmon
Mike and his wife Kim have been parishioners at OLL since they moved to Seattle in 1998. The Harmon's are very active in OLL community and have four sons (Ryan, Jack, Patrick and Sean) who all attend Our Lady of the Lake School.
Mike has served on the Parish Life Committee and Marketing Committee and joined Development in 2007. Mike enjoys travel, snow skiing, water recreation, golf, fishing and coaching youth sports.
Mike is the President of Coast Equity Partners a Puget Sound real estate investment company and has a background in new company development and technology management consulting.
Mike holds a BS in Finance from San Diego State University, 1988 and a MBA with concentrations in Marketing and Management from the University of Notre Dame, 1990.
Colleen Kinerk
Colleen Kinerk has been a member of the OLL community for her entire life. Her parents, Lou and Mary Jane Kinerk were long time parishioners who were proud to have their nine children attend OLL School.
Colleen and her husband Dan Kilpatric were married at OLL in 1982. Their sons Dylan and Connor are Laker graduates. The Kinerk-Kilpatric clan members have enjoyed active participation in Development, Parents Club, School Commission, the speech program and CYO sports.
Colleen practices law in downtown Seattle and is involved in a number of professional and civic organizations.
Guy Tobin
Guy Tobin and his wife Ellen Walker Tobin have been members of OLL Parish since 1996. Their children both attend the parish school. Catherine will be a sixth grader at OLL during the 2008-2009 school year. Their son William enters the 3rd grade at Oll School in 2008-2009.
Guy began a career in residential/investment real estate in 2003 with Madison House Ltd. after a 12 year career as a fund development professional for the Lemay Car Museum, Seattle Preparatory School, Seattle Children's Theatre and Ruth Dykeman Children's Center. Guy resides in the Ravenna neighborhood and enjoys travel, golf, tennis, Catholic volunteerism.
