Adult ProgramsAdult ConfirmationWe cooperate with neighboring parishes to prepare adult Catholics who have never been confirmed. Adult confirmation takes place in the Spring. Adult Religious EducationThroughout the year programs are offered for adults, particularly during Lent and Advent, to grow in faith and deepen our understanding. Infant BaptismBaptism preparation classes for parish families wishing to bring their child into the Christian community are offered four times during the year. Parents are required to attend these classes to review their duties and responsibilities and the meaning of the celebration. Parents are encouraged to attend the classes even before the child is born to anticipate the joy of Christian Initiation. One member of the family must be a registered parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Parish. Marriage PreparationNotification of the intent to marry should be given to the Priest Administrator at least six months before one wishes to be married. Parish "Marriage Guidelines" are available at the parish office. To avoid possible disappointment, do not set a date or make other arrangements before contacting the Priest Administrator. |
